Today in Mrs. Truby's class was not normal because this week is Read Across America Week, so we got to wear our pajamas to school ( That we had not done for a couple years.) Usually we have a morning work sheet but today we didn't, instead we got all our blankets and stuff we brought for pajama day and set them up Olivia and I shared are stuff. Next we started to read until 8:30 which is when we went swimming. We usually don't go on Wednesday but yesterday we had a field trip. So we switched days with the fourth graders. In my swimming group we played a game that you rolled a die and that is how many 50s you have to swim. For the butterfly stroke we had to swim 4x50s. In the backstroke we had to swim 3x50s. In breaststroke we had to swim 6x50s. After all that we swam Freestyle 3x50s. All of that swimming was very tiring . Finally in our swim activity we had some relays. My group did not do so well so we lost both times.
When we got back to our room we all got comfy and read until 11:30 which is when band begins. I was in study hall and completed DOL (daily oral language) and read books with Olivia, Olivia and I read all these little kids book and got a lot of AR points that way. all day that was fun. The other kids played with Ike. For lunch was spaghetti and meatballs. It was pretty good and for one of the first times the noodles where not under cooked. They where pretty good. Then we went to recess and had an extra long one. There was a litte area that was full of sand and we took Ike there and he dug a shallow, long hole. It was super funny because we kept having to fill it in and there was a tarp under the sand. The Ike went up on the equipment and we tried to get him to go down the slide but he was too heavy to push. That was really fun. We went inside and went to Music but Rachel and I took Ike potty. Then we went to the room and Ike did not want to go up the stairs so we had to push and pull him up. That was hard. Then we met Mrs.Truby on the stairs and she took Ike and then we went to Music and in Music we are working on our play Seussical. We worked on the opening and the closing of the play. We went back to our class and we all read more and our class together got a total of about 105.6 AR points or something like that. Our room was so messy at the end of the day it looked like a tornado hit it or something like that. We finally packed up our bags and all the things we brought for pajama day. It was a fun day and I think everybody got there AR points so that means that we get to have a party.I think that we are going to fantastics it is a gymnastics place.
